The stage of life I am in vs my parents house at the same stage, the house

prices are about the same.

My current
family of 6, in 2200 sqft 4 bd 3.5 ba townhome, small yard

The house I grew up in
Family of 8, 1800 sq ft 4 bd 3 ba single family, .25 acre yard

Hoping I can make the same upgrade my parents did. When I was 14 we moved into a 5500 SQ ft 6 bd 3.5 ba home on 1/3 acre. That one is probably worth double what my current Home is
