Fair enough. No one wanted to live in Utah 40 years ago. Now California prices
have pushed people out to the neighboring western states. People are moving to Texas in droves. Affordability there is now waning.
I have not checked regional affordability from the mid 80’s when interest rates were around 15% and compared it to household income, but the math in my head is not confirming it.
