Hall might be the best at making the safest place, but that’s different
From the confidence level I have in him making the right play. Max, Beck, Sark, and Doman were better at balancing risk/reward and running through progressions more quickly and hitting the 2nd and 3rd read. I would like to see him take more risks and utilize his check down receivers like his TE’s. Hall either goes to the primary target for the play or checks down to his RB’s. The other receivers get the ball when he scrambles and the play is broken. It’s not a huge knock on him but to a fault he doesn’t get to the reads outside of the primary route.
Hall is a good quarterback, and a very safe quarterback, but I’m not more confident in him at making the right play compared to other greats we’ve had.

I wouldnt compare Hall to Detmer, I think he is a better, more athletic version of Senior Year John Beck.

I would bet that Jaren Hall gets drafted similar to where Beck was drafted, but that he will have a better career.
