The reason this won’t happen is the money.

The new b12 is going to be paying out 50+ mil per team and the pac 12 without usc/ucla will only be paying out 30 mil per team. Would you leave the big12 for the pac 12 and give up 20 mil?

Has less to do with stability and more to do with money. There are no big 12 teams that can compensate for losing usc/ucla.
