Do you have any idea how hard that is for a non blue blood to do? Yeah, Utah lost in the CCG. But to a #1 draft pick who's lighting it up in the NFL.
You can't win every game against schools with better talent and resources — all the time. Utah had a fun time returning the favor. Utah quickly becoming one of the premier programs in the west.
But to bounce back from 2019 with young starters and finish 12th this season, that's awesome. How is that disappointing...lol?
BYU fans have this concept that Utah should be playing up with the Alabama's and Georgia's of the world. If they're not, it's outrageously disappointing. For a school that should be recruiting in the mid50's, any top 25 finish is fantastic.
I'll take Utah's accomplishments, recognizing the huge limitations they have.
