Has Gordo ever taken a voice/radio speaking lesson? He might want to get some
training on how to actually speak. Then add the talent of speaking on the radio. Learn some diction, meter, dynamics. He always seemed to think he didn't need anything more than his writing career to become a broadcaster, and it shows.
You can't just phone these things in. I hardly ever listen to SLC radio, but I can hear the growth in guys like Criddle when I do hear their shows. Gordo never seems to change and he's hard to listen to for long because he has a lazy, drawly (without even the grace of a southern or accented drawl... it's just a grainy lazy-mouthed delivery) way of speaking that's just not pleasant at all to listen to.
