Make no mistake about it, Pope is pumped about this team
He has been upbeat and has been scheduling as aggressively as possible.
He has one of the best, experienced, high-percentage, and unselfish guard tandems in the nation. Great leadership where it counts the most.
At the 3 spot there is excellent competition, with the loser being a starter most everywhere else ... and a flexible player who can slide to the 2 or the 4. Plus bench shooters. And a stud at the 4. Two program guys at the 5.
Seriously, how many other coaches have that luxury? Pope is not delusional or just trying to sell tickets. These ... guys ... are ... his ... best.

Time will tell but I don’t think this will be Pope’s best team. I think Yoeli, Toolson, Haws, & Barcello was a better
