The complaint is more about taking federal and state money without having to answer to the state on many issues
I think it is an issue of accountability in the usage of federal and state funds. People shouldn't be getting rich off taxes. If that is the case, taxes should be reduced. In this case, may be support should be reduced or charter should have a tuition based component. Why should the state fully fund them? If parents want options that much, let them pay for them. I think these question cause the complaints about people getting rich off them.
