all the other channels was different from the interactive guide that wasn't a channel. She had basic cable and ch 17 was just scrolling list of what was on there was no box or DVR or anything like that. I had satellite with a box that had interactive channel guides. She would ask me every time I was over to fix it so her remote could just pick the new channel from the list like the one at my house. I could never explain it to her.
