My wife and daughter can sleep and I can get 400-500 miles (on the freeway, I can get almost 650 miles out of a tank of gas) into our trip without having to stop. Once I do stop, we usually only stop for 10-15 min at most. With most chargers, even on the quick chargers, my understanding is that it takes 20 min to get 200 miles of range or closer to an hour of stopping time to get 85 percent charged. Then you have to consider how busy the chargers are. Much better to have a petrol/Diesel engine for long trips.
