That twitter post is looking at the older model prior to them updating it this

weekend (update didn't show until yesterday evening). Their updated model indicated the following:

Hospital beds needed: 14,947 - 37,756
ICU beds needed: 3,777 - 9,277

Compare that to the ACTUAL numbers and it's right in the same range the model predicts.

ACTUAL hospital beds needed: 16,500
ACTUAL ICU beds needed: 4,376
