I've always been a downer on conference tournament what is the point of playing
15-20 conference games during the regular season just to have some lucky team in some weekend decide who the best team of a conference is?
At least this WCC bracket properly rewards teams for the whole season they've worked for. It greatly reduces the chances of being knocked out early by a proven lower team, and if you do lose in this bracket your more likely losing to a quality team not a bottom conference team.
This schedule helps the top of the conference in a lot of ways IMO. I would rather not have a conference tournament as why did we just play 15-20 conference games? But I am in the minority as well all teams and conferences play tournaments so we need to as well I guess?
