met a kid who played for a University team in Tokyo. He was their backup center
...at 6'2" and he would come to play pickup ball at the church/mission home (maybe the only one in my mission with a full-size gym). I had fun destroying him. I don't know what level the University was in Japan as far as basketball went but it was not very impressive.
