I know that - if you read my post, you will see that I give several reasons why
Mika is not a typical BYU student. He had a chance to be an all-time legendary athlete at the school - which is indeed a very unique situation to be in - and he flushed that chance down the toilet.
I am arguing that he had plenty of reasons to stay, and that whatever argument there is about the social scene (married vs. single) is basically a non-factor.
