I was surprised by the Taysom tidbit regarding his injury last year

It sounds like he knew about the liz franc injury at half time and knew it was a season ending injury. However the medical and coaching staff gave him the go ahead to try and play in the 2nd half. Taysom is then praised for his incredible gutiness and courage to try and keep playing. It all seemed very similar to the Riley Nelson story where the coaching and medical staff allowed him to play with a broken back.

It makes me wonder what other injuries BYU athletes are playing through and how much the safety of players is really being considered.
