I can tell Jake was younger than me, but after reading this and his wife's blog--I look up to him. He's a better man than I. Your post makes me want to be a better father and husband and truly cherish the time that I have with my family. How many of us submit to the Father's will as humbly as he did through adversity? I know I haven't--and mine is only financial setbacks from bad choices made before the recession. Nothing like the fire of tribulation that he was asked to go through. My prayers are with your family. He makes me proud to be a fellow Cougar.
