What a lovely tribute to Jake. This touched a nerve in our home and made us cry. I will miss him in many ways but one of the ways I will miss him most is his never wavering, undying, realistic, not-too-high, not-too-low BYU fanhood. He was a very dedicated CougarBoard member and fan. To the point where his wife more than once had to tell him to "Get off Cougarboard!" (if you are reading this, go play outside with your kids for 20 minutes in Jake's memory). I love that he spent some of his remaining months and years watching BYU basketball and football games and teaching his kids to do the same. You can already tell that one of his girls is going to be a die-hard fan for life. I will always remember watching the Cougs in the NIT this year with him in the last few weeks of his life. This is such a sweet tribute to an amazing, kind and good man. Thank you so much.
