and it’s been really good. Apple now has all the parental control features we wanted (plus some maybe) and it’s in a phone and OS that we know and can navigate well. Just did an Apple Watch for the next one coming up (we do watches before the phone) and it has the parental controls now too.

That doesn’t even start to get into how being on Gabb or Troomi made it not possible for our daughter to be in the friend text threads and with Apple she can be. And, we can monitor all of the text threads still, we can take her off text threads if we want to, etc.
