I’m like an ADHD fly tier. Jump from one thing to the next with occasional

Bouts of hyper focus, especially when tying for a trip. Yesterday I tied a few BWO emergers. The day before that was a big articulated streamer. For the last two weeks, I’ve been tying flies for salmon in Alaska. I have a couple of friends headed up there next year. Popsicles and hareball leaches. I’m about to start thinking about Salmon flies and cicadas.

It can be more expensive to tie rather than buy if you don't fish a lot.

I like being able to tie exactly what I want, including oversizing tung beads on a smaller hook.
