Breedlove is a great brand and Yamaha is one of those brands that was great in the 70's and then kind of became a cheaper type guitar for a long time. I have heard great things about the new Yamaha's though I have not played them.

The key with any guitar is to have it professionally set up (even new guitars need this). If you buy from a local shop they will set it up for free usually. If you are in SLC Guitar Czar or Acoustic Music will have the guitars set up that are for sale. If you buy on line you might want to take it to one of those places for a professional set up. It will make playing it, especially as a beginner, much more enjoyable.
