its wrong in baseball and basketball
play all year then give those who were not good enough a second chance.
I'm for very limited teams in any playoff, any sport. It devalues the regular season to invite more teams. giving 2nd and 3rd place teams a second chance means they can get hot for a short time and get rewarded. They had their chance and blew it.
