We lost to Kansas at home. That's what it boils down to.
The team we had vs Kansas isn't the same team that played Colorado. Nobody saw that coming. Especially the playoff committee. It's fine though. We are set up to start the year off ranked high. If we can be this good or better next year we are in without a doubt.

I agree. But nobody benefits more from inflated SOS than the Big 10 so even then, some lesser teams can sneak in.

I think when most people say SOS I think they mean Strength of Record. Our SOS wasn’t great, but our SOR was fantastic
