Winning percentage of teams you lost to.
BYU lost to ASU(7-2) and Kansas(4-5) (11 wins).
ISU lost to Tech(6-3) and Kansas(4-5) (10 wins).
Colorado lost to KansaKSU(5-4) and (4-5) (9 wins).
ASU lost to Tech(6-3) and Cinci (3-6) (9 wins).
We're out because Iowa St had a "better" conference schedule thanks to playing Texas Tech (and losing). B12 schedule isn't something teams have control over, but winning and losing is. We should use winning percentage of teams you lost to.
ASU somehow gets in with the worst loss of all the first place teams.

I agree. But nobody benefits more from inflated SOS than the Big 10 so even then, some lesser teams can sneak in.

I think when most people say SOS I think they mean Strength of Record. Our SOS wasn’t great, but our SOR was fantastic
