They put a camera in through the nose and got far enough to see the adenoids blocking the path. They didn't look any further than that so at least from my perspective they never saw the tonsils and never mentioned them. That's why we're surprised by that being mentioned.

Hearing issues is what originally got us to take her in to get checked but she's always had a nasally voice like she had a stuffed nose.
