Grandparents shouldn’t really be the ones spoiling the kids on Christmas anyway IMO.

Presents for sure, but all of my favorite gifts, or the ones I remember at least, came from my parents/Santa. That’s sort of been our philosophy as well though my wife and I have never really discussed it, but she and my BIL have had to talk her mom down from ridiculous gifts for our kids and nephews a few times.
