I wonder what if there was a "Facility fee" included in that

A lot of hospital owned clinics now include a facility fee, often leading to the outrageous bills for simple outpatient visits. Overall, a lot of things are going up in healthcare, but physician (and PA) costs are not the leading factor.

Yes. It’s absolutely out of control. Family Doc salaries start in the $400k range in many mid west cities now.

Family doc average pay in Iowa is 200k-250k. To say they start at 400k is a bit absurd.
