the Paul Hornung Award (most versatile college player), the Lott Impact Trophy (defensive player of the year based off character), Chuck Bednarik Award (best defensive player), Fred Biletnikoff Award (most outstanding receiver), Walter Camp Award (collegiate american football player of the year), and AP National Player of the Year.

I mean, if you remove all of those accolades, and you ignore all of his stats and all of the snaps he played and that he achieved those incredible stats all while playing virtually every snap of each game, yeah, I guess you're right that he never would have sniffed the award.
