My son plays in a high-level soccer team. Parents are dead silent.

It was almost disconcerting the first few times until we learned the overall culture.

Games are far more pleasant than any rec or more local teams we played with.

One game stands out, other team parents were jawing early on and got absolutely shut down by both their coach and the ref.

Take that for what you will.
