There was the issue with the star running back driving drunk over the summer and Gundy making excuses, basically it is something every has done, to include him. Then in the middle of the season Gundy claimed that the fans complaining were poor people and disappointments to their families — he really upset a large portion of the fanbase with the comments.

He's always been outspoken (I'm a man, I'm 40....), every few years saying things that made OSU fans cringe. This year, between the drunk driving and lack of punishments for its happening, to his comments about fans, the desire to get rid of him is as much about the negative PR that Gundy has brought the school as it is the poor performance on the field.
