Because SP Resume + only gets reported for the Top 15 and KFord only reports the Top 30.
Again, the committee’s mandate is “best teams” not best resume. Which is different than basketball. But I still think this is helpful, I just prefer the other efficiency metrics.
Overall, better for BYU, but still not enough. The Big 12’s Top 5 moved up somewhat, but is really more competitive with the SEC’s 5-10 best teams, which tells you something IMO.

Is the committee actually under-ranking the Big 12, or does the data just say those teams are a bit worse?
