Me? No. It doesn't fit my needs or uses for a truck. Even a half-ton gets pushed to its limits too often for me.
But for 90% of the truck buyers out there a Maverick is more than enough and should be high on their list when shopping. Unless you value aesthetics and don't like the aesthetics of that truck.
