I am sorry that he was diagnosed so young, especially during his teen years. I have often wondered if I would have been able to serve, had I been diagnosed before my mission. It is inspiring, to see that he had the faith to put his trust in God, and go, knowing that each day could bring on a major flare. i have profound respect for your son, as well as for you and his mother. I can’t even imagine how hard it was to place your faith in the God, knowing what it took to get him to 18, and not being able to help him manage the day to day aspects, his symptoms, and meds. It can be such an intense disease, and even though Arizona is close, it is took a lot for you both to let Heavenly Father and our Savior take on that yoke. Great job!
