The national and local media, Vegas, and the college football committee continues to undervalue this team. Perception absolutely matters. BYU is not a nobody. Every 10 years or so, they have a great team. This is one of those teams and they should be given the opportunity to compete at the highest level.

This team is really good. They’ve won every game they’ve played. Know what you’ve got.

When Iowa State was ranked above BYU, they had never had a team go 7-0 before. Ever. They didn’t have the résumé that BYU has this year and still got more respect. BYU has a better and definitely longer football history yet still didn’t get the same respect. If you hear the national media talk today, none of them would give us a chance against SMU and Kansas State in a rematch.

And how many are saying that a 1 loss BYU team will probably be left out of the football playoff? So the only way to make it is be undefeated even through the BIG12 championship? It’s ridiculous.
