Or was BYU subbing later on the play clock than in previous games?
I did notice, though, that BYU's new guy and the BYU guy being replaced would run on/off simultaneously.
UUs guys, in the other hand, would wait until the new player was in position and then the guy would replaced would slowly stroll off the field once the new guy was already in place.
What we saw last night from UU was pretty unique. It's not like that every game.
I'm not arguing that BYU doesn't do it also. But BYU seems to be.much quicker, in general.
UU seems to be doing it while intentionally breaking the spirit of the rule.
