I haven't done one for about 3 years
but the standard tour was nothing like that at all.
We took the tour with the guide, a student, and drove around campus. Fairly simple tour but nothing like what you describe.
We did make other arrangements to meet with specific faculty or departments but that was outside of the standard tour.
