I've never had a problem with LDS folks who are Ute fans. No issue at all.

I have had a hard time understanding why they would "hate" BYU. I've had a hard time understanding why they would "hate" Bronco Mendenhall for talking about church and family being more important than football and having firesides.

I don't think you have to be a Utah fan to be a bad member of the church. I know plenty of people who are bad members who aren't Utah fans too.
