But my point is absolutely not about how good the Big 12 actually is or is not. It's about the perception. And the reality is that the perception isn't good.
Partly it's bias that other conferences are better, partly it's that almost all the teams that were expected to be good (Utah, K State, Kansas, Oklahoma St, Arizona) have been terrible, which makes it tough to rack up quality wins.
