His entire world is playing this sport and punting and when you get an awesome punt/sack/catch/interception, etc. it's the payoff for all the years and months of practice and grind.

I used to think that college kids celebrate too much, but I've never suited up and basically given my life to training to go out and play the game on TV so others can watch it from their couch.
