Stanford’s was paid for by donors. Baylor brand new stadium cost $250m and $180 of it was paid by donors.
Even Arizona State’s $300 million renovation was paid for by donors, sponsors, and university owned businesses. Similar situation to Minnesota’s brand new stadium.

At a cost of $256M in 2010. Safe to say that a similar renovation would cost much more today. All for 7-8 events per yr.
