I’m not sure exactly what your problem is but it’s weird. I have made zero guarantees or assurances that anything is
happening. But it sure seems to bother you that I think BYU would be open to donors paying for upgrades. SMH.

Okay, where are you getting $1 billion from? Have you paid attention to COLLEGE stadium costs? They aren’t $1 billion.

At a cost of $256M in 2010. Safe to say that a similar renovation would cost much more today. All for 7-8 events per yr.

He’s not going to force them to. If they want to spend it, they’ll spend it

Not upset at all. Funny you seem to think so. Just trying to bring some of you back to planet earth/reality. I guess

Several schools, even private ones like Stanford and Baylor, have either done massive renovations or constructed new

What was the financial structure of those particular examples? Who paid for it?

Stanford’s was paid for by donors. Baylor brand new stadium cost $250m and $180 of it was paid by donors.

I know it happens, but I'm not aware of that kind of donor money at BYU.

We don't have to make it a facility capable of holding World Cup finals. We just need to make it better by college
