Our team was O.K. Certainly not great. We kinda blew it, sure, by dropping a TD play at the get go and some other mistakes, but we were hardly the caliber of team that should have been expected to handle Utah. And we didn't. Disappointing but hardly shocking. Our D was rather awful that year.
It's not a gimme this year either.
Utah has struggled to put up points, but they've moved the ball, and their defense has the capability of playing extremely well. They have at least 3 big time threats on O at TE, WR, and RB. Utah at home is a big play or two away from getting up a couple scores on most opponents and making it very, very difficult to come back.
BYU has the ability to put a multi-score beat down on Utah, but I'll be very pleasantly surprised if that comes easy.
