In regards to "contention" my concern is that too many members take that to mean we should NEVER "contend" with anyone when the opposite is true. How one should "contend" is a fair question but far too often we as a people act more cowardly than we should.

Hiding behind "civility" is still cowardice if we're not willing to "stand up" for the truth.
