While I think there is a strong basis for those 3 things there are exceptions.
When McCarthy was a freshman she was all speed. Her touches and ball skills left so much to be desired I wondered how she would ever be a major contributor. By her junior season she was becoming a major contributor and as a senior a high impact player. Turning the ball over to the other team with poor touches and passes improved drastically. I got excited when she accelerated past defenses and ran down balls to the corner instead of anxious when a turnover would happen. Rockwood allowed her to develop, coached her up and used Rachel's abilities and hard work to BYU's advantage.

Just a general observation.
It is one thing to recognize where individual development is needed, however some of the negativity directed at the freshmen and sophomores with no or little high level D-1 experience or opportunities for in game experience may be short sighted. Comparing this team to last years Senior laden team also does a disservice IMO.
