Cheap options will disappear in the US
That may change the dynamic. The reason there are so many cheap compound pharmacy options is because the FDA is allowing it while the branded drugs are supply constrained. Once that constraint is gone relatively soon, it will be much more expensive for the average person. Not sure how availability outside the US will impact that though.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has determined the shortage of tirzepatide injection, a glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) medication, has been resolved. Tirzepatide injection has been in shortage since 2022 due to increased demand.
