In high school, junior high all assignments could be turned in late with no grade discount or minimal mark down. All test could be taken again and again and again for full credit. I understand somewhat. If you eventually learn the subject matter you are good. However, there are more things to learn from school. Deadlines, responsibility, work, organization, planning... School is failing to teach these other skills. These are basic life schools that kids don't learn at school.
