Let's be real.
Byu has played great so far. We are a good, solid team. Not elite though. We can compete in every game on our schedule and can probably win most of them but we still don't have P4 depth and with key injuries starting to pile up we will inevitably lose some games we would otherwise win with a full healthy team. I think fans shouldn't expect or hope for playoffs until November and we are still undefeated. We have played just 2 of 9 conference games. Still have a LONG ways to go. Byu always performs well in September. It's always the sustained success against great competition that hasn't always been there to finish seasons. Let's be excited and hopeful, but expecting playoffs is too much IMO
