There is a benefit to both. I enjoy hybrid.
There is something to be said being around coworkers. Building up good working relationships is much easier in person than over a computer. WFH it is much easier to “dehumanize” your coworker when they ask for a request. Also collaboration is much easier.

When working on a project and I need an answer it is much easier to turn around from my desk ask my coworker that question. Get instant answers. WFH I have to wait for an email or chat to come back. If they are running an errand or away from the computer for a bit I don’t get easy answers.

The benefit to WFH is that when you want to get in a flow state and get stuff done it is so much easier. As you can’t get distracted by coworkers talking about Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

I really do think the path forward is Hybrid working schedules.
