We make our kids buy their own phones and pay for service

My 15 yr old daughter got a babysitting job and saved up to buy a Gabb Phone. No social media or picture messaging. She pays for everything.

My 16 yr old son still doesn’t have a phone. He talks about wanting one, but doesn’t have a consistent job and spends his money on other items. (activities, games, treats, etc)

My 13 year old son has no phone & no desire.
