Having said that I believe they have caps on how many P&D routes you can own. I think that’s why they recommended linehaul—FedEx is more lenient on allowing people to scale.
You’ll see a lot of these that come up for sale with the reason being that they got too big and FedEx made them split routes and sell part of the business.
If you can scale it’s possible to make mid six figures or even seven figures, but those are the elite operators.
