I read the post. They're not going back. They have at least 2 choices that
are WAY AHEAD of affiliating in a conference with Fresno State and Boise State.
1) Stay in the depleted ACC and play all their road games in Boston, Syracuse, and Miami (or Winston-Salem or Tampa or wherever).
2) Beg there way into Big 12 membership - probably at substantially reduced shares. Even if the money was neutral or less, Stanford and Cal would associate with BYU and Baylor before Fresno State and Boise State.
